In relation to the education program
editarHello, Djeticcc.
I talked to Miljan Simonović (disc. · contr. · bloq.) yesterday asking him about the education project from the University of Belgrade. I understand that participants don't know much (or any) Spanish, and I'm willing to help review the articles so that we can have useful information on the Spanish-language Wikipedia.
However, I'd like to ask for a little more help from participants.
- Please try to use the titles in Anexo:Monumentos culturales de la Ciudad de Belgrado. I translated this page from French yesterday, and it has links to all the cultural monuments in Belgrade. I use the "What links here" function a lot, and it's useful to have articles link to each other more efficiently.
- However you are translating the articles, the text in links doesn't get translated and remains in Serbian. Even though I can pass those words through a translator and get their approximate meaning, I think it's the user who creates the article who should make sure that the whole text of the article is translated.
- In the same way, instead of adding links to articles in Serbian (or any other language), it's preferable to add links to the corresponding articles in Spanish. For example, Списак споменика културе у Београду in the "See also" section should be "translated" to Anexo:Monumentos culturales de la Ciudad de Belgrado, which is the corresponding page in Spanish.
- This is a big favor I'm asking. If it's possible, could you use templates for the references, and re-write the different data in Latin script (for example, "Blagojević" instead of "Благојевић")? The English-style templates, such as
{{Cite journal}}
or{{Cite web}}
, work mostly fine here. That way, readers of the Spanish-language Wikipedia will be able to understand the text a little better, even if they still can't understand the actual sources.
Thank you for your attention. If you have any doubts, feel free to ask! Sabbut (めーる) 11:49 21 ago 2017 (UTC)
