Wikipedia en español

Hola, ¿es tan complicado dar títulos en español a las imágenes? Porque a no ser que sean nombres propios, ni upland ni camp settlement son términos en español. --Ecemaml (discusión) 08:20 22 may 2006 (CEST)

Sorry for the late delay, but sometimes it's difficult to remember all the messages that are waiting for a response. Well, with regard to the document, it seems much more related to the sovereignty discussion than to a generic development on the Falkland Island article. Provided that external links must point to a reference in Spanish (whenever available and relevant), I really think the reference you've provided needn't be included. On the other hand, I might accept your explanaition about the terms you've included (camp settlement and upland), but as long as this is a wikipedia in Spanish, if such terms are used in a specific/restricted way or may be used as proper names (not common names), an explaination, in Spanish, would be needed. I deeply appreciate your efforts to expand and enhance our article, but you'd better take into account that the inclusion of English-language terminology or material is not useful in itself (as least not for a wikipedia in a language other that English). Plagio mal encarado

Usted está copiando un ensayo tomado de http://www.falklands-malvinas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1729, por lo que se considera un plagio, y autopromoción, además está usando otras wikipedias que no son de lengua española para sus actividades, son considerado spam. Por ende su comportamiento será llevado a instancias ante un steward para que aplique una sanción. Serán avisado los administradores de las diveras Wikipedias para que borren ese ensayo de todos los lugares que puso. Si vuelve a hacer esto, será castigado enérgicamente por usar a Wikipedia como plataforma de ensayos y autopromociones en escala.--Taichi -> (メール) 10:40 28 may 2006 (CEST)

Your allegations of 'plagiarism' are clearly misplaced, and I am sorry you failed to ask about the copyright situation before removing the text. As I published the text, this means that it is released in the public domain because this is the Wikipedia rule. It has similarly been made available to the quoted website (together with the full text of the book of which the present text is only the principal chapter), because the text of this article is released to the public domain. One cannot presume that simply because it is on the web, it is copyrighted. This article is not. I suggest that the text be reverted. To be more explicit, I would be happy to add the GFDL tag for which I have authority. Apologies for not communicating in Castellano. Apcbg 14:30 28 may 2006 (CEST)
