Cómo firmar Esta es tu página de discusión, en la cual puedes recibir mensajes de otros wikipedistas. Cuando esta llegue a ser muy extensa, puedes archivar las discusiones pasadas. Para dejar un mensaje a otro wikipedista debes escribir en su página de discusión, si no, no será notificado. Al final del mensaje debes firmar escribiendo ~~~~ o presionando el botón mostrado en la imagen. Recuerda que los artículos no se firman.

Mangshi

I know that Mang (Dehong) is more important than Mangshi. But what happens is that in Spanish there is a tendency to avoid words (zh 桓仁满族自治县, es Huanren , en Huanren Manchu Autonomous County)

In your example 芒市 (Mang shi / Mang city) 芒市 镇 (Mangshi zhen/town), on enwiki says;

"Mangshi" is the proper name of the city, however, the character "市" (shì) itself means "city".The full name in Chinese language is "芒市" ("Mangshi" or "Mang City")

I have a doubt in (景颇 语 ： Mangshi Myu), what does Myu mean? city? .--EEIM (discusión) 22:37 24 feb 2021 (UTC)

@EEIM:Mang City is definitely not correct, because Mangshi is an ancient ethnic name at the beginning. Dehong official government translated it as Mangshi City. I found this problem three years ago and I try to explain it in English Wikipedia, so I added much of the information to the page. I don't know who added it again, now I have removed it. Because of the wrong translation in English, all Wikipedia used the wrong name. In Jingpo language, Myu is city. And I understand your example of Huanren, is Spanish Wikipedia have any rule to solve it?--瑞丽江的河水 (discusión) 22:46 24 feb 2021 (UTC)

Because Mangshi is the Dai people and Jingpo people region, much of the place is not a Chinese name at the beginning, they just use Chinese script nowaday. Han Chinese immigrated to Mangshi in the 1950s majority. For the divisions of Mangshi: Menghuan, Zhefang, Mengga, Manghai, Fengping, Xuangang is Tai Nuea name, Jiangdong, Xishan, Zhongshan, Santaishan and Wuchalu is Han Chinese name. Jiangdong was the Han region since Qing dynasty, Xishan, Zhongshan, Santaishan and Wuchalu are new names, no older than 1950. And the name "Mangshi", we don't know, it might be a Tai Nuea name (looks like), but modern Dai people don't call it Mangshi, they call it Menghuan, Menghuan is Mangshi in Tai Nuea name, so some people thought Mangshi should be a De'ang name. De'ang is the eldest aboriginal ethnic in Mangshi, older than Dai and Jingpo.--瑞丽江的河水 (discusión) 22:54 24 feb 2021 (UTC)

Baidu Baike is not good, I always help them to fix error, they never care about reference. The article Mangshi in Chinese Wikipedia is a featured article, I wrote two years ago, if you like you can read it.
