Re: Lonesome Crow

editar

Hi, Stalisnav. All information that you add in the articles here in Spanish Wikipedia needs references. I deleted the information because it had no references. From Lonesome Crow to Animal Magnetsim are good articles —and in the future i hope all Scorpions albums will be, that's why i'm working on it— so they went through a verification process. I don't know the same process in Bulgarian Wikipedia, but here is strict. That's the reason why i deleted that part. I'm only user working in the Scorpions articles here and try to put all possible references, specially i'm working with Martin Popoff's book Wind of Change - The Scorpions story. I think you are a Scorpions fan, like me, so i invite you to translate the good articles here to your language. From Lonesome Crow to Animal Magnetsim and «Rock You Like a Hurricane» are good articles. Wind of Change are featured article. Blackout is a featured article candidate. And in the future will work in «The Zoo» and «No One Like You» to be make it good articles, and Love at First Sting to be make it featured article. If you need help on Scorpions information, just talk to me here in my discussion page. Thanks for the CD cover images on Wikimedia by the way. Greetings. --Pzycho10 (discusión) 14:21 7 ene 2023 (UTC)Responder

Hello, thanks for the answer. Yes, the rules in our Wiki are the same, but in the beginning of each article, there is no need sources, because all this is already included in the text, below in each articles. For example, I already took almost all from the Spanish version of Lonesome Crow, because before the article wasn’t made so good from me. But if you open the Bulgarian version of it, you will find in part “Представяне” this information, of course with sources and that’s why I didn’t add them in the beginning of it. So, you can take this information in part “Promoción” of Spanish version as well, with the sources there, so the text which was without sources deleted from you, can stay, as is in Bulgarian version. Also, I would like to thank you for the information in the articles of Wind of Change, Still Loving You and Rock You Like a Hurricane, I used lot of them to make them good in our Wiki.
I recommend you to visit the article of the song Blackout in Bulgarian Wiki, made only by me, you will find good information, including data from the book of Rudolf Schenker - Rock Your Life (for which book we have also article, made by me). Maybe from the template Scorpions in Bulgarian version, you can see what I made for them in Bulgarian - https://bg.wikipedia.org/wiki/Шаблон:„Скорпиънс“.
Unfortunately the Martin Popoff's book Wind of Change - The Scorpions story is not available in my region, so I will look behind you, for more information, which I can use. Thanks again. Станислав Николаев (discusión) 14:40 7 ene 2023 (UTC)Responder
Thank you. That rule, about beginning of each article, is the same here too, but include a resume. I forgot, all singles from «I'm Going Mad» to «All Night Long» are updated too, but the information is really hard to come by, so they're not very detailed. «The Sails of Charon» also is good article candidate. Check it out. --Pzycho10 (discusión) 15:40 7 ene 2023 (UTC)Responder

Re: Love at First Sting

editar

Hello, Billboard and Music & Media in Europe (in 1984 call Eurotipsheet) were some of the most reliable sources of the time, like Music Week and Record Mirror in UK or RPM in Canada, for example. Those posts were the only ones to know about sales or certifications, so, i trust them. I saw that link about the gold certification in France, but at least we know that Love at First Sting received a certification. I don't know why Infodisc don't include this album, because LAFS was a huge success in France. In fact, SNEP page don't include it either. --Pzycho10 (discusión) 16:11 23 feb 2023 (UTC)Responder

Hello, sorry for the late answer. What to say, it looks that this with the certifications is not so easy, anyway I will add this information in the Bulgarian Wiki. Thanks agan. Станислав Николаев (discusión) 06:40 2 mar 2023 (UTC)Responder

Re: Savage Amusement

editar

Hello again from the south of the world. I'm working on that album in my computer, i have the preproduction and grabation sections already. I was on vacation in march so i'm delayed with all Scorpions albums. But now i'gonna to work again on that. I read the bulgarian version and i can see that you understand my writing style jajaja. My idea is to finish Savage Amusement this month, so we are in contact. Greetings. --Pzycho10 (discusión) 15:00 13 abr 2023 (UTC)Responder

Hi again. I listened, i don't remember where, (Forever and a Day documentary maybe?) that Andy Warhol wanted make the album cover of an Scorpions album. I think was Savage Amusement. The Popoff book don't say anything about it. In the Savage Amusement documentary Part I in Youtube, they named one person but i can't understand very well. Do you have any information about it? Greetings. --Pzycho10 (discusión) 15:24 17 abr 2023 (UTC)Responder
Sorry for my late answer. I have no any information about the question for this topic, but I thought that Marint Popof book said, looks not, Станислав Николаев (discusión) 07:56 18 abr 2023 (UTC)Responder
Hi, indeed was Warhol at end. --Pzycho10 (discusión) 20:09 17 abr 2023 (UTC)Responder

Sales in France

editar

Hi, my european friend, i just found this page. Write Scorpions in the searcher and appear sales, DVD positions and a lot of information about Scorpions in the french market. It's really interesting. On the other hand, i started to work in Crazy World album. Greetings. --Pzycho10 (discusión) 15:40 6 may 2023 (UTC)Responder

By the way, in one of those pages it says that Blackout sold 369 000 units. With that number, Blackout was platinum album, but SNEP still not certified. Strange. --Pzycho10 (discusión) 16:25 6 may 2023 (UTC)Responder
Hello, sorry for my late answer..... Anyway, I have also finished with Savage Amusement, with part of the information from your article. About the link in infodisc.fr, I know this site with so much data inside, just for me is not easy with the french. Anyway, I will look now there and what can be used for Wiki. You say that you work now in Crazy World? Thats good, I have still problems to find information of the way of recording it, the new manager, what really happens with Francis etc. Can you please let me know when you done with it? Станислав Николаев (discusión) 08:03 9 may 2023 (UTC)Responder
The Popoff's book doesn't say much about Crazy World songwriting. I already have the grabation and background sections, but the composition section it does not convince me, maybe i need to fix it. --Pzycho10 (discusión) 15:49 9 may 2023 (UTC)Responder
In case that the book says not so much, you have other sources? Станислав Николаев (discusión) 11:55 11 may 2023 (UTC)Responder
I have the liner notes of european and american edition to complement. I read in german wiki that the album was going to be called Restless Nights but they changed the name to the current one. Herman Rarebell said that on a interview with Saarbrücken Zeitung paper in 1991, but is very difficult to find that edition. The Popoff's book doesn't say anything about it. About Crazy World album, the information in the book is very poor. --Pzycho10 (discusión) 14:30 11 may 2023 (UTC)Responder
I finished with Crazy World. Now i want to work on Still Loving You album (1992), but i don't find reviews. I just have the AllMusic site and german magazine Bravo. Do you have any sources about Still Loving You album? --Pzycho10 (discusión) 16:03 19 may 2023 (UTC)Responder
Hi, unfortunately I have nothing about the compilation Still Loving You. In my opinion with Crazy World the end of more and more information about their albums is over or just is too early to be published. You did great job with Crazy World. Станислав Николаев (discusión) 07:27 22 may 2023 (UTC)Responder

┌─────────────────────────────┘
Thanks. Indeed, i wrote it to be a featured article. I have information about the nineties's albums but not too much as the classic ones. Now i want to work in Still Loving You compilation and then Face the Heat. --Pzycho10 (discusión) 14:36 22 may 2023 (UTC)Responder

WWA Certifications

editar

Hello my friend, the WWA certifications in the articles Fly to the Rainbow, In Trance, Virgin Killer, Lovedrive, Gold Ballads, World Wide Live, Savage Amusement and Crazy World are for sales in Europe only. That certifications are the previous to Platinum Europe Award, but is the same. So the WWA Certifications were issued before 1996, the year the platinum europe awards started. So we have to change the information. Greetings. --Pzycho10 (discusión) 16:53 17 jun 2023 (UTC)Responder

Hello, sorry for my late answer and thanks for the information. I will take a care for the articles in the BG Wiki. Станислав Николаев (discusión) 07:14 26 jun 2023 (UTC)Responder

Lovedrive

editar

Hello my friend. I started to working on Lovedrive article again, because i found more information. It was stated on the Scorpions website that only three singles were released: «Is There Anybody There?», «Lovedrive» and «Another Piece of Meat». But in Wikimedia Commons there are photos of the LPs «Always Somewhere» and «Holiday». My question is: is are they singles? Promotional singles? --Pzycho10 (discusión) 22:07 3 ago 2023 (UTC)Responder

Hello and sorry for my late answer, I had not so much time to write here last month. Always Somewhere and Holiday a released as promotion singles mostly in Asia. --Станислав Николаев (discusión) 06:12 15 sep 2023 (UTC)Responder
Hello again. Thanks for the Rolling Stones's link and i'm gonna check the articles of that two albums when i start to work with. Now i'm busy with Still Loving You article. Greetings. --Pzycho10 (discusión) 14:27 22 ene 2024 (UTC)Responder
