editarA lynx is among the four species of a medium-sized wild cat. The name lynx comes from Middle English derived from the Indo-European root.
Medium in size, it is in danger of extinction in many areas. In fact, it was a species completely disappeared in Asturias, the birth of three young of the boreal lynx has been announced in Cangas de Narcea that have brought a breeze of joy to a place like this.[1]

editarTheir elongated ears allow them to have a better sense of hearing. Their fur varies according to the species. It can be brown and yellowish and at low temperatures it turns grayish. . the largest is the Eurasian with a weight of 30 kg, unlike the Iberian that weighs just under 20.
LYNX HABITAT
editarThey inhabit the northern hemisphere of the earth in tall forests with lush shrubs and tall grasses. lives in colder environments such as coniferous forests and tundras; for that they have their bigger legs and thicker pads that protect them from the snow.
FEEDING THE LYNX
editarTheir main prey are rodents such as mice, deer, hares, sheep, squirrels, goats, foxes, wildcats, young deer, and birds. They have the ability to climb trees and good swimmers while fishing.[2]

The natural habitat of the lynx is very varied, it is distributed from Alaska to southern Mexico, as well as in most of Europe and Asia, it is in extremely cold and warm regions. Depending on the species, it can be found in different areas.
The Canadian lynx receives this name because it is in this country where the largest number of specimens is found. Its fur is quite abundant, as it helps it withstand the low temperatures of its natural habitat.[4]
5. INTERACTIONS BETWEEN SPECIES
