The Beautiful South
The Beautiful South fue un grupo de rock alternativo inglés formado al final de los ochenta por dos antiguos miembros del grupo de Hull llamado The Housemartins, Paul Heaton y Dave Hemingway. Otros miembros fueron Sean Welch (bajo), Dave Stead (batería) y Dave Rotheray (guitarra) y una sucesión de vocalistas femeninas - Briana Corrigan, Jacqui Abbott y Alison Wheeler.
