Proclus, the most prominent excluded-ray-zone crater on the near side of the Moon, has been difficult to photograph successfully because of the brightness of its rays. In this near-vertical photograph, interior details are clear despite the relatively high Sun angle when exposed on revolution 28. North is at the top of the photograph. The object at the right (not shown) is the CSM EVA floodlight.
