Resumen
DescripciónPolish People's Army soldier (35547437961).png
Soldier of the Polish People’s Army on training wearing a gas mask with its emblem worn in the ushanka hat. Although I can’t say nothing more about the picture, the Polish People's Army, or, in Polish, Ludowe Wojsko Polskie, was the second formation of the Polish Armed Forces in the East and later the armed forces of the Polish communist government of Poland, which from 1952, was known as the Polish People's Republic along with the ruling Polish United Workers' Party. This military unit was formed during the Second World War as the Polish 1st Tadeusz Kościuszko Infantry Division, also known as the Berling Army. Its prestige, however, started to fall during the post-war, eventually disappearing in 1989.
