Rarer than transits generally, tonight ISS passed over the moon but illuminated by the recently set sun which meant I could photograph the pass with colour detail rather than a silhouette like my previous transit photos. I’ve never done this before so was super excited to get it in great clarity! Taken tonight from the backyard observatory in Byron Bay @ 17:51:07s using C9.25″ Edge HD / F10 / Canon 70D / ISO 1800 / 1/1600s – 7 Frames I’ve already been addressed by space / moon / nasa deniers who think this is fake (haha!) so here are the RAW unprocessed images for you to download.
