MOTTOAKLAND PARK DEPARTMENT Members of the American Institute of Park Execu-tives were recently entertained in Oakland. BillMott was on the committee of the East-Bay Dayof the Institutes convention. Some 300 delegatesand their wives visited the East-Bay RegionalParks and the Oakland City Parks, terminatingthe day with a barbecue and program in Wood-minister Bowl. ARI INOUYE exhibited at the San Mateo FiestaFlower Show winning first prize in the OrientalGarden Class. Use of natural rock in a naturalisticsetting, and the possibilities of using rock andplant materials together for desired effects wasemphasized. He is writing an article on the sub-ject which he contemplates publishing soon. WM. B. SEABURY has moved his offices to 2063Mountain Blvd., Oakland. He is designing a parkfor the tov/n of Elkton, Maryland. OSMUNDSEN, STALEY and GIBSON are work-ing on an. Apartment House Subdivision in EastOakland being built by Groom & Groom.
